A total of nine participants from DRS4BR and twelve from NEOC attended the conference,2 presentations were presented 1 from NDMA side and 1 from DRS4BR team side.
During the meeting, the NEOC team presented the overarching structure of the NEOC/NIDM and other NDMA divisions, alongside the operational mechanisms of NEOC’s Flood Modeling System.Concurrently, Dr. Jiao from DRS4BR introduced the latest KFDIM model for flood monitoring, which garnered significant appreciation from NEOC members.
NEOC expressed strong interest in adopting the KFDIM model for future operations and emphasized plans to expand the use of Chinese satellite datasets. Additionally, NEOC’s flood monitoring unit requested technical collaboration from DRS4BR to enhance flash flood modeling capabilities.
