On July 11, 2025, Professor Wu Lixin chaired a focused mapping discussion in the Key R&D Conference Room. The meeting brought together mapping personnel including Professor Wu’s Pakistani PhD students, Pakistani collaborators visiting China, and doctoral students actively involved in the DRS4BR project.
The participants conducted an in-depth discussion on technical challenges and omissions encountered in disaster risk mapping and basic geographic information mapping. They jointly analyzed issues and, based on practical needs, formulated directions and guidelines for the next phase of mapping content revision.
This discussion exemplifies the close Sino-Pak cooperation under the DRS4BR project, advancing joint research progress in disaster risk assessment and geographic information fields.
