The International Training Workshop on Resource & Environment Scientific Data Sharing along the“Belt and Road”successfully held at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGSNRR, CAS) from July 28th to August 11th, 2024. The training workshop attracted 70 applicants from 15 countries along the Belt and Road. Ultimately, 20 participants from seven countries: Pakistan, Mongolia, Russia, Egypt, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, were admitted.
This training program was organized by the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of China and hosted by IGSNRR, CAS. It was co-organized by the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO, the China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre on Earth Sciences, the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), the Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) International Programme Office, the National Earth System Science Data Center, the World Data Center for Renewable Resources and Environment, and the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics in conjunction with the Laboratory of Geo-Hazards Perception, Cognition, and Prediction at Central South University.
The training program focused on scientific data sharing platform technologies, data governance and standardization, disaster risk reduction knowledge services, remote sensing monitoring for disaster response, disaster risk assessment, and international cooperation in data sharing and disaster risk reduction. Its goal was to enhance international cooperation in resource and environmental data sharing, strengthen regional disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities, and promote sustainable development to support Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) research collaboration.
A total of 26 expert lectures and 5 technical visits were organized as part of the program.

2024年7月28日至2024年8月11日，在中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所举办了“一带一路”资源环境科学数据共享与防灾减灾知识服务国际培训班。本次培训吸引了一带一路沿线15个国家的70名学员注册报名，最终录取来自巴基斯坦、蒙古、俄罗斯、埃及、伊朗、乌兹别克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦共7个国家的20名学员。本次培训班由科学技术部国际合作司主办，中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所承办，联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心、中国-巴基斯坦地球科学研究中心、“一带一路”国际科学组织联盟、灾害风险综合研究计划国际项目办公室、国家地球系统科学数据中心、可再生资源与环境世界数据中心和中南大学地灾感知认知预知研究所联合协办。培训主题围绕科学数据共享平台技术、科学数据治理和标准规范技术、防灾减灾知识服务应用、灾害应急遥感监测、灾害风险评估、数据共享和防灾减灾国际合作，旨在促进资源环境数据共享国际合作体系，提升区域防灾减灾能力和可持续发展能力，支撑一带一路国际合作研究。本期培训班共组织了26场授课报告和5场技术参观活动。
